Special Event: Tidy Up the Rose Garden

We need your help tidying up the garden before the Friends host a large group of visitors attending the Annual Olmstead Network Conference right here in Portland, OR. Join us on September 23 for some garden maintenence in and around the park.

PP&R Volunteer Appreciation Dinner
Dear Friends,
Portland Parks and Recs will be hosting their annual Volunteer Appreciation dinner on September 10th.
Please join us for a fun evening of celebrating Friends organizations across the Portland area.
Location: Peninsula Park Shelter under the big trees in between the playground and the rose garden.
What to Bring: a fun side dish to share with your Friends! PP&R will provide drinks and main dish.

Friends Volunteer Appreciation
Friends, the season isn’t over… but on Friday, August 14, the Board would like you to take a short break from the rose beds and so we can honor you!
Meet at the garden as usual, we will spend a hour or so deadheading, then we will gather under the big trees for a Volunteer Appreciation party with elevated refreshments and snacks.
